Peter has 25 years experience in a variety of communications roles in journalism, advertising, public relations and consultancy. For the past 10 years he has led diverse communications programmes to support business leaders.
Originally a journalist, ultimately on the Daily Mirror, in 1987 Peter joined a consultancy specialising in IT solutions for the board directors of major corporations. Having established the company’s reputation in the UK, he then spent a year New York, setting up a US subsidiary. On his return to the UK in 1989, he founded his first business, a PR company specialising in IT, which evolved into Beyond when Peter met co-founder, Giles Giggins.
Peter has an MA in English Literature from Cambridge University and spent a year on a creative writing scholarship
at Harvard University in the USA, He is a Fellow of the RSA,
an alumnus of the Strategic Leadership Programme at Templeton College, Oxford, is a published poet, has written for the think tank, Demos, and contributes articles to the travel section of the Sunday Telegraph.
